Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Booking an at-home massage or an ice-bath session means trusting us with your phone number, your home address and a few health details. This page explains exactly what is collected, why, how long it is kept and how you can have it deleted.
1. Who is responsible
This policy applies to ilyamarchuk.com and to the massage and cold-exposure sessions booked through it. The data controller is Ilya Marchuk. For any privacy request write to hello@ilyamarchuk.com — you will get a personal answer.
2. What we collect
Only what a session actually requires:
- Booking details: full name, phone number, email (if given), chosen date and time.
- Address details for at-home massage: street, building, floor, entry instructions and parking notes.
- Health information: answers to the health declaration (conditions, injuries, pregnancy, medication, cold-exposure contraindications) and pressure or area preferences you tell us.
- Session history: past appointments, cancellations, and short professional notes for follow-up treatment.
- Technical data: pages visited, language and theme preference, and campaign (UTM) parameters that brought you to the Site.
3. Health information is handled as sensitive data
Health answers are collected only to keep the session safe for you, are seen only by the practitioner, are never used for marketing, never sold, and never shared with anyone else — unless you ask us to (for example to coordinate with your physiotherapist) or the law requires it in an emergency. You may refuse to answer a health question, but we may then decline the session for safety reasons.
4. Why we use it and on what basis
To confirm and manage your booking, to call you before the visit, to arrive at the right address, to adapt the treatment safely, to issue receipts and meet bookkeeping obligations, and to understand which pages and campaigns bring clients. Marketing messages are sent only if you asked for them, and every message includes a way to stop them.
5. Who can see the data
The practitioner, and the technology providers that run the Site and store its data (hosting, database, email and analytics services), who process it only on our behalf. We do not sell personal information and do not pass it to advertisers. Data may be disclosed if required by a lawful order or to protect life.
6. How long it is kept
Contact and health records are kept while you remain a client and for a reasonable period afterwards for follow-up care and legal claims; payment records are kept for the period required by tax law (currently 7 years). Website analytics data is kept in aggregated form. When a period ends, records are deleted or anonymised.
7. Security
Data is stored on secure cloud servers with encrypted connections and access limited to the practitioner’s authenticated account. Health notes are not written down in shared documents, chat groups or social networks.
8. Your rights
Under Israeli privacy law and the GDPR where it applies, you may ask at any time to see the information held about you, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, receive a copy, or withdraw consent — including the right to have your address and health declaration erased after your last session. Write to hello@ilyamarchuk.com; we respond within a reasonable time and at no charge.
9. Photos and testimonials
Photographs or videos from a session are taken and published only with your explicit prior consent, and that consent can be withdrawn at any time — the content is then removed from the Site.
10. Cookies and measurement
The Site uses a small number of cookies and local storage for language, theme and accessibility preferences, and to measure how many people who saw a landing page went on to book. You can clear them in your browser at any time; the Site keeps working without them.
11. Children
We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian, who must approve the booking and be present at the session.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the version published here is the one in force. Ilya Marchuk · ilyamarchuk.com · hello@ilyamarchuk.com.
